iFilePost Editorial Team·Last updated October 17, 2026

Effective date: October 17, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of iFilePost.com, including its free tools, articles, and the iFilePost Review Reply Chrome Extension (together, the “Services”). Please read them carefully. They explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our privacy policy. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Services.

2. Free Tools Provided “As Is”

We offer our tools free of charge. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, limit, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time, with or without notice, and we are not obligated to maintain any particular feature.

We may set reasonable usage limits to keep the Services available for everyone and to prevent automated abuse.

3. Your Responsibility for Generated Content

Our tools produce automated and AI-assisted drafts, including review replies, review request messages, and reputation audit results. These drafts are suggestions, not finished content.

Always review before you post or send. You are solely responsible for checking every draft for accuracy, tone, and appropriateness, and for any content you publish, post, or send using the Services.

In particular, you agree to:

  • Remove or correct any statement that is inaccurate or does not reflect what actually happened
  • Avoid disclosing private customer information, including protected health information if you are a healthcare provider
  • Avoid defamatory, threatening, or discriminatory language in replies
  • Comply with laws that apply to your messages, including consent rules for text messages and commercial email

Automated drafts may occasionally contain errors, odd phrasing, or details that do not fit your business. You should not rely on them without review.

4. Compliance With Review Platform Rules and the Law

Our tools are designed to help you respond to and request genuine reviews. You agree to follow Google’s review and contribution policies, the rules of any other review platform you use, and applicable law, including the FTC’s Trade Regulation Rule on the Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials. This means you will not use the Services to:

  • Create or solicit fake reviews, including reviews written by you, your staff, or anyone who was not a real customer
  • Gate reviews, meaning you only ask customers you expect to be satisfied, or screen out unhappy customers before directing others to leave a public review
  • Offer incentives such as discounts, gifts, or payments in exchange for reviews, or in exchange for positive reviews
  • Pressure, threaten, or harass customers about their reviews
  • Post reviews about competitors or misrepresent who you are

Our guides on asking for reviews the right way explain compliant approaches in more detail.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages using content generated by our tools
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the security or operation of the Services
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated scripts to access the tools at scale without our written permission
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Services or the Chrome extension, except where the law expressly allows it
  • Upload malicious code or content that infringes someone else’s rights
  • Resell or offer the Services as your own product without permission

We may suspend or block access for anyone who violates these Terms.

6. Chrome Extension

The iFilePost Review Reply Chrome Extension is subject to these Terms and to the Chrome Web Store’s terms. The extension generates drafts on request and does not post replies for you. You are responsible for anything you publish on your Google Business Profile. You can uninstall the extension at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including the site design, software, tool logic, text, graphics, and logos, are owned by iFilePost or its licensors and are protected by US and international intellectual property laws. You may read and share links to our articles for personal and business use, but you may not copy or republish substantial portions without permission.

You keep any rights you have in the text you enter into our tools. You may use the drafts you generate for your own business purposes, including posting them as review replies or sending them to customers. You grant us a limited license to process your input as needed to provide and improve the Services, as described in our privacy policy.

Google, Google Business Profile, and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. Other trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services, including review platforms and tools we mention in articles. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any draft, reputation score, or article will produce a particular result, such as more reviews or higher ratings.

Content on iFilePost.com is general information, not legal, marketing, or professional advice. See our disclaimer for more detail.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, iFilePost and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the Services. This includes any consequences of content you post or send, actions taken by a review platform against your account, or decisions you make based on a reputation audit.

Because the Services are free, our total liability for any claim related to them is limited to one hundred US dollars (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless iFilePost and its team from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of the Services, content you publish or send, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the applicable laws of the state in which iFilePost operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts with jurisdiction over that location, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts stay in effect. These Terms, together with our privacy policy and other policies referenced here, form the entire agreement between you and iFilePost about the Services.

15. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the form on our contact page.
